NHH Bio aims to provide customers with a whole range of choices of 100% biodegradable compounded polymers for different applications. We now have grades for:

- Blown Film
- Sheet Extrusion
- Thermoforming
- Injection Moulding
- Non-woven Fibre
- Blow-moulding

They are all conformed to international standards such as FDA, ISO 14855, EN 13432, etc.

In addition to our standard grades of resins, tailor-made compounded biodegradable polymers to meet specific application requirements is also possible.

Our research and development activities are supported by the Technical Departments at each of the NHH Group’s manufacturing plants, and The NHH R&D Centre in Shanghai, PRC. They are all equipped with sophisticated processing equipment and testing instruments ranging from rheolmeters, thermal analyzers, particle size classifier to twin-screw and single-screw extruders. Continuous effort has been directed towards fundamental as well as applied projects including improvement of heat deformation temperature of PLA and drawdownability of biodegradable blown films.
